During the summer, local pharmacies are strengthened to ensure coverage of the entire tourist area, with widespread presence in the main seaside towns and throughout the territory.
All sales points stock both over-the-counter and prescription medicines, as well as a wide range of personal care products, dermocosmetics, and travel hygiene supplies. Staff are trained to provide guidance on the proper management of therapies, also in foreign languages, and to assist patients in collecting medications prescribed by the Tourist Medical Service.
