As part of the “Healthy Holidays” program, the ULSS 4 Veneto Orientale Healthcare Authority provides a tourist dialysis service for patients with chronic kidney failure—both Italian and foreign—who are on vacation along the coast. This service allows patients to receive dialysis treatments safely without giving up their holiday stay.
The treatments are provided on an outpatient basis, with the possibility of scheduling the frequency of sessions according to the patient’s clinical condition and individual needs.
